Are You Suffering from Pain?
Here’s the truth, it’s not about if you’ll suffer from a strained back, a bum knee, a displaced shoulder, or even carpal-tunnel syndrome… it’s a matter of when.
Pain can suddenly appear in any body, simply from performing regular, everyday activities: picking up your toddler, reaching for that box on the top shelf in the garage, even hitting a drive on the course in your quest for a hole-in-one.
Now, you’re in pain… and it hurts! Sometimes so much that it hurts to do anything — you may even have trouble sleeping.
You have options
If you’re suffering from pain, now’s the time to ask yourself what you’re going to do about it.
Perhaps you can go see a doctor, have some tests done, and get a prescription for powerful painkillers. But the latest research shows that prescription opioids and invasive medical tests and treatments can actually delay your recovery and cause new problems to arise.
Or perhaps you could have expensive, dangerous surgery that may not even be effective in the end (think of the post-surgical woes of the Golden State Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr).
Or perhaps you can simply learn to live with it.
But none of these are particularly good options — is there an alternative?
