5 BENEFITS OF STRETCHING:
1. Increase Circulation
3. Increase Range of Motion
4. Reduce Stress
5. Alleviate lower back pain
Dr. LeBeau targets your limitations using a combination of contraction and relaxation of both agonist and antagonist muscles. PNF stretching is capable of producing greater improvement in flexibility compared to other techniques.
FUNCTIONAL REHAB/CORRECTIVE EXERCISES
Stabilization of a joint is important in preventing and/or rehabbing an injury. Dr. LeBeau specifically designs functional exercises to target your problem areas in the body.
The rotator cuff is made up of 4 different muscles. Their job is to stabilize the shoulder. We see rotator cuff injuries most commonly in repetitive sports.
Dr. LeBeau uses a technique from Motion Palpation Institute. Motion palpation is used to locate joint dysfunction within the spinal column and extremities.
SOFT TISSUE TECHNIQUES
Working on muscles is an important part of treatment. Soft tissue techniques are used in the treatment of carpal tunnel, tennis or golfer’s elbow, trigger points and more. Some techniques Dr. LeBeau uses include Graston, cold laser and a series of specific stretches.
