Gina Beyer, MC
Gina Beyer is an educator, mental health specialist, wellness advocate, and international speaker with unbounded energy and love for life. Her areas of expertise include psychology, mindfulness meditation, yoga philosophy and the contemplative sciences – an emerging field of study combining neuroscience, psychology and meditation. She blends her interdisciplinary background into powerful learning experiences designed to enhance human wellbeing.
Gina earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in counseling psychology from Arizona State University (ASU). After a decade working in academia, she left her position as Director of the University College Academic Success Programs at ASU to start a private practice.
Gina’s private practice is a personalized, educational and experiential learning process that explores the broad spectrum of cognitive processes and states of mind contributing to enhanced wellbeing. Her work focuses on metacognitive skill development and self-regulatory abilities, emotion regulation strategies, the effects of meditation techniques on wellbeing, and motivational, intentional and contextual factors that influence coping skills and attitudes. Gina embraces an integrative, interdisciplinary approach of the study of the mind and its’ practical applications.
